BBM For Android Update Brings Bug Fixes & Support For Additional Devices
BlackBerry rolled out the first public update for its official BBM application on the Google Play Store last night, bumping the version up to 1.0.0.72. The upgrade brings a multitude of bug fixes and stability improvements, in addition to support for a mass of additional Android-powered devices.
Unfortunately, the changelog doesn’t include a complete list of supported devices, nor does it say which were added in the latest update, but we do know that the BBM development team have fixed a bug which caused the app to crash when scrolling between menu’s too quickly.
The full changelog can be seen below, which has been taken directly from BBM’s Google Play page:
- Bug fixes and performance enhancements
- Support for additional Android devices
For those unaware, the BBM application provides Android users with unlimited access to the incredibly popular instant messaging service, providing them with the ability to send free text messages, voice notes, pictures and documents.
