These Ceiling Tiles Purportedly Brought To You Courtesy Of The Mythical Google Nexus 7
Okay, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say we’ll definitely see a Google Nexus tablet announced at I/O. I’m not basing this on the countless months of rumors or he said, she said, but on this next piece of hard evidence: ceiling tiles! That’s right, these ceiling tiles were captured at the famous building 44 by a device manufactured by ASUS and going by the name Google Nexus 7. I guess these ceiling tiles have sealed the deal for me, and I’m 100% convinced by the EXIF evidence found on Picasa.
Not sure if you guys could tell that I was being semi-sarcastic. As we all know, EXIF data can be forged and there’s a good chance this is just rumor monger fodder for us to blog about. Only a device such as the Google Nexus 7 could get a bunch of people all excited about ceiling tiles. I do believe Google will announce a tablet at I/O, exactly what it will entail I’m not sold on yet, but if this EXIF data is to be believed, it’s possible it will have a 1280 x 960 front facing camera.
So what do you think, is this our unicorn? Let’s hope a few more careless (or clever) employees decide to post some pics — maybe this time of the floor.
