DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX owners rejoice, Ice Cream Sandwich is on its way. Starting today, Verizon will be pushing out software upgrade 6.16.211.XT912.Verizon.en.US. Not only will this bring all you RAZR users up to date with Ice Cream Sandwich, but it will also make the DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX the first 4G LTE smartphones on the Verizon Wireless network to be Global Ready.

As with every Verizon update rollout, expect it to start today and gradually reach everyone over the next couple weeks. It’s been a long awaited update and it’s sure to be worth it — as long as MotoBlur doesn’t mess with it too much.

So keep your eyes peeled for the OTA to hit your device within the next week… or two.
