Samsung Galaxy S III Is Now The Top Selling Smartphone In The U.S.
The Samsung Galaxy S III has become the top selling smartphone in the U.S., a title held by Apple’s iPhone 4S since its release. While you can attribute this to a number of reasons, mostly the upcoming launch of the next iPhone, it’s still an achievement to be proud of. The Galaxy S III is more than worthy to hold that top spot, and is the device I personally recommend to anyone asking what phone they should buy. I was lucky enough to review this top seller last month and I can honestly say its praise is well deserved.
This also lays flat any rumors flying around that Samsung users are undergoing a mass exodus due to the monumental blow Samsung took in the U.S. courts. Samsung continues to be at the top of its market and with the Galaxy S III and Note II, I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
Will the Samsung Galaxy S III lose its top spot after the next iPhone is released? Most certainly, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a fantastic device. The next couple of months will give rise to numerous new devices and Android competition will get fierce before the holidays, but expect the Galaxy S III to remain a top seller through it all.
Enjoy your month in the sun Samsung, you deserve it.
