Motorola Announces The DROID RAZR HD, RAZR MAXX HD, And RAZR M
Motorola and Verizon have announced their next lineup of RAZR devices as well as a few other tidbits. Motorola is sticking with its battery bait marketing by offering two new devices: the DROID RAZR HD and the DROID RAZR MAXX HD. As you can already conclude, the RAZR MAXX HD has the bigger battery. Other than that, they both share identical specs such as a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display featuring 78% more pixels and 85% more color saturation than the iPhone 4S, and Android Ice Cream Sandwich (with a promise of Jelly Bean).
As for the DROID RAZR M, it’s a slightly smaller device with a 4.3-inch edge-to-edge display, Android 4.0, the same processor as the DROID RAZR HD and more:
Many specs are still a little bit of a mystery, but we’ll update them as soon as we get correct information. So what do you guys think? Personally, Motorola should have just stuck with one RAZR HD and given it the extra battery. Also, releasing these phones with Ice Cream Sandwich doesn’t make much sense, but oh well. I’m going to go ahead and say meh, on these. Although the price of the RAZR M isn’t bad — $99 on two-year contract.
One last piece of interesting news, Motorola announced they would also be releasing developer editions of their phones for those who like to “tinker.” We’ll believe it when we see it. You’ll find the full press release below:
