Yesterday we caught wind of a rumor suggesting a 32GB Nexus 7 was on the way. Today, more evidence suggesting so has popped up, along with a possible release date. According to Droid-Life, a reader of theirs came across the 32GB model on one of their purchasing systems, prompting him to call his reseller for more details. Once he contacted his reseller, he was informed that they would be receiving them around October 24, and that it was a “special” model.”

We haven’t the faintest idea of what they meant by”special,” but it has us even more anxious for an official word of some sort. Other than the extra storage, your guess is as good as ours — Android 4.2 perhaps? This could also turn out to be fake, but two sightings in two days is reason for hope.

As for pricing? We’re not going to put much faith in what we see in the above picture, especially considering the 8GB model is listed at $244.68. We’ll keep our eyes out for any new developments and we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we do.
