Motorola DROID Bionic owners don’t have much to be happy about these days but perhaps an Ice Cream Sandwich update will be enough of a refresh to get them through their contracts. Reports are coming in that Motorola has begun sending out emails to members of the Motorola Feedback Network, inviting them to take part in an upcoming soak test for the Bionic. While the invitation doesn’t specifically indicate that the software upgrade will be Android 4.0, there’s a high probability that it is.

If this soak test turns out to be Ice Cream Sandwich, it will only be a couple weeks before it starts to roll out to the general Bionic population.
