Viewsonic announced today that they would be adding to the oversaturated Android tablet market with their own sub-$200 tablet. The Viewsonic ViewPad E70 sounds like a good deal at $170 and having Android’s latest Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, but once you check out the details, you might be singing a different tune.

The ViewPad E70 seems to be missing one very important Android feature — the Android Market! While there are 3rd party market alternatives, having the Android Market on an Android device is an integral part of managing and syncing your apps across various Android devices and is the official default market for Android. If that isn’t enough to deter you from purchasing this low-budget device, perhaps the “low-budget” specs will.

The VeiwPad E70 sure isn’t going to turn any heads with its current specs, and we’re not sure having Android 4.0 and a $170 price will be enough to compensate, but I can totally see an unsuspecting consumer seeing this in a store and thinking they’re getting a good deal. Here’s what you’ll get with the Viewsonic ViewPad E70:

• 7″ 800 x 480 display
• 1GHz processor (we’re assuming dual-core)
• A front-facing camera
• 4 GB internal memory
• MicroSD expandable storage up to 32 GB
• MicroHDMI port
