Google Unveils A Fresh New Look For Google Play
We’ve heard whispers for a while now that Google was set to unveil a new look for Google Play, and the day is finally here.
Google just announced a fresh new look for Google Play that gives content more screen space in an effort to attract more users to download apps, movies, books, and more. The new UI is clean and simple, plus it’s supposed to help you find new content faster.
“The new design focuses on bigger images that jump off the page. Similarly themed content is grouped together so you can hone in on a magazine to read or an app to try. As you move down the page, new recommendations continue to appear so there is always more to see and explore. We’ve also simplified purchasing so you can breeze through checkout and get to enjoying your movie rental or other content.”
The updated Google Play will roll out to Android phones and tablets starting today. The bigger images certainly help content stand out more, but what do you guys think of the redesign? Will you miss the old Google Play at all? Let us hear your thoughts in the comments.
