Subatomic Studios has announced on Facebook that its latest titles, Fieldrunners 2, will finally launch on Android next Wednesday, more than nine months after making its debut on iOS. The title will be identical to its iOS counterpart, with the same 20+ hour campaign and the same awesome visuals.

Fieldrunners 2 is arguably one of the most entertaining tower defense games on mobile. It delivers an all new adventure that gives you the opportunity to build incredible mazes out of a powerful arsenal of weapons in an effort to save the world from the invading fieldrunners.

There are more than 20 brand-new levels, 20 upgradeable weapons, and high-resolution visuals that look terrific on the latest devices. It also offers multiple game modes, including time trial, sudden death, and puzzle maps. If you loved the original Fieldrunners, there’s no doubt you’ll love its successor.
