Lenovo Ideaphone K900 Coming May 6
You may recall, back in January, Lenovo unveiled its brand new Ideaphone K900 at CES and it totally blew the audience away. Three months later the company has finally announced the handset’s release date as May 6.
Lenovo posted an announcement on its Chinese website, informing readers that the K900 would be available to purchase starting May 6. However, it did not release any official information on the price. Obviously the device will be released in China, however some rumors suggest it will also be available in other Eastern countries, but not the US – what a shame!
The device certainly packs a punch, featuring a 5.5-inch 440+ ppi display, a 2.0GHz Intel dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 13MP rear-facing camera. It runs the latest version of the Android OS — 4.2. Jelly Bean, all neatly housed inside an aluminium chassis.
The Ideaphone also features a Wireless Display feature where users can play the contents from the device directly to the television without any wires – this is an awesome feature to have if you’re a person who likes to stream media from your mobile device to the big screen.
The K900 features an ultra-fast charging mode, where the battery can fully charge in just 90 minutes! The Ideaphone, is a must-have device for aspiring mobile photographers, featuring a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, equipped with a Sony Exmor RS lens, providing photo quality significantly better than other devices available on the market.
