A new software update rolling has just begun rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy S4. It doesn’t bring the much-anticipated Android 4.3 update, unfortunately, but it does offer some camera improvements including HDR video recording, and it increases the amount of internal storage available to users.

The update is currently available to the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S4, according to SamMobile, but it will be coming to the Exynos variant as well later on. It’s hitting Germany first — as Samsung updates often do — so it’ll likely take several weeks before it’s available to all users.

You may also have to wait for your carrier to approve it if you didn’t buy your handset unlocked.

This update addresses one of the biggest complaints the Galaxy S4 has received so far, and that’s the amount of internal storage available to users. With the 16GB model, users only had access to 9.15GB for their own data, thanks to all of the software features Samsung pre-installs on the device.

That’s now been increased slightly to 9.23GB, but you’ll probably still need a microSD card slot for your music, movies, and images. Hopefully Samsung will continue working on this, and we’ll see that figure rising again in future releases.

-Smart Pause Toggle
-Move Apps to SD Card
-HDR Video (Can record HDR video)
-Semi-transparent status bar

The update weighs in at around 385.67MB, SamMobile reports, and you can either download it over-the-air (preferably using Wi-Fi) or on your Mac or PC using Samsung’s KIES software.
