HTC seems to have real difficulty keeping unannounced products a secret, so by the time it actually gets around to unveiling something, we’ve already seen it numerous times. And that’s certainly the case with the HTC One Mini, which has been pictured yet again out in the wild.

The photograph above was obtained by a source for Engadget, who has confirmed the specifications that we’re already expecting. As a reminder, the One Mini is to offer a 4.3-inch 720p display, a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera.

It also has Beats Audio and what appear to be dual BoomSound speakers, but there are some big differences between it and its bigger brother. In addition to the smaller screen and slower processor, the One Mini is also lacking an infrared blaster, and the aluminum form factor, instead being built from plastic.

Of course, these changes mean that it will be significantly cheaper than the original One, which will allow it to compete with the Galaxy S4 Mini and other midrange Android smartphones. It’ll also provide those on a tighter budget the opportunity to get their hands on HTC’s latest features, such as its Sense 5 user interface and all the goodies that come baked into it.

It’s unclear when the One Mini will launch, but according to Engadget, HTC will make us wait until this fall for the announcement. We’re likely to see a lot more of it between now and then.
