If you’ve been expecting Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note III to look just like a giant Galaxy S4, then you won’t be too surprised by these leaked illustrations taken from a Galaxy Note III user manual. They reveal the new phablet will look almost identical to its little brother, with improvements like a Xenon flash and a 5.7-inch 1080p display.

Assuming these illustrations are genuine, they prove that the Galaxy Note III will look very much like Samsung’s other Galaxy offerings. There’s a physical home button, incredibly thin bezels down the edges of the display, and a power button on the right side.

There’s also a second physical button on the side of the device — towards its bottom edge — which is presumably a dedicated camera button. When you combine that with the 13-megapixel camera and Xenon flash, it’s clear Samsung has made an effort to improve the Galaxy Note’s camera experience.

Other specifications listed in the manual include a 5.7-inch 1080p display — slightly bigger than the Galaxy Note II’s 5.5-inch display, Bluetooth 4.0, 1080p video recording, and two different processors — an octa-core Exynos processor, and a quad-core Snapdragon 800.

We can’t confirm these illustrations are genuine, of course, so bear in mind that these specifications may change before the Galaxy Note III is announced later this year. But they certainly look feasible.
