We’re starting to catch sight of the new Nexus 7’s first official accessories less than a week after the device was announced. In the past, it has taken several months for ASUS in conjunction with Google to produce accessories for the Nexus range, but now just within a couple of days of its unveiling we are already starting to see three new ASUS manufactured products.

The new accessories were not mentioned at Google’s press event on July 24, but Amazon has started to list an official travel cover, a premium case and a screen protector. However, the products aren’t available to purchase just yet. Travel Case

The travel case is made from a light, yet durable polymer, which will provide damage resistance that is more than capable of withstanding the everyday knocks and bumps that your device is likely to incur. This travel case comes in 5 vibrant colors, pictured above and has precision inserts for your connectors enabling you to charge your Nexus 7 FHD and insert headphones without ever having to remove the cover thus ensuring that your device is protected at all times.

Premium Case

The premium case has an ultra-durable polyurethane construction and is lined with soft microfiber to protect your device. The case is equipped with a built-in folding cover providing two different mounting positions for your tablet; one for typing and one for watching movies or playing games. There are also precision inserts for the Nexus 7 FHD’s charging port, camera and volume rockers allowing you to have full control over your device without having to detach the case. The premium case has a slim and sturdy design which will fully protect your Nexus 7’s front and back from the everyday bumps and scratches it is likely to incur, and is available to purchase in both black and white.

Screen Protector

The screen protector comes as part of a package including 1 Matte Screen Protector, 1 Glossy Screen Protector, 1 Squeegee and 1 Cleaning Cloth to make the application of the protector as smooth as possible. According to the items description, the screen protectors include proprietary technology to resists bubbles, glare, fingerprints and scratches.
