New Nexus 7 Now Available To Pre-Order In Australia
Having already gone on sale in the United States, and been made available to pre-order in the U.K., those in Australia can now place their orders for the device starting today. Prices start at AU$299 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model, and retailer PLE Computers says the device is “due to arrive late August.”
The listings were first spotted by Ausdroid, which points out that these prices are not official. Google hasn’t yet confirmed pricing or release dates for Australia, so they could change in the coming weeks. But for now, the 16GB Wi-Fi model is listed at AU$299, the 32GB model is AU$339, and the the 32GB LTE model is AU$439.
PLE has three stores, Ausdroid reports, all of which are based in Western Australia. But you can have the tablet shipped for between AU$15 and AU$26, depending on how fast you want it. PLE says all three devices are due to arrive in “late August,” but it is yet to offer a more specific release date.
Earlier today, we reported that the 4G Nexus 7 is now available to order from British retailer Very for £299, with delivery promised within three working days.
