A leaked official press render emerged last week, revealing a blue variant of HTC’s latest flagship smartphone. And now a photo, which was taken by a Chinese factory worker, has appeared on a social networking website, as confirmation. This image shows a more vivid shade of blue than we had previously seen in its recently leaked promotional shots.

In terms of specifications, the handset is completely identical to the original One, featuring a 4-inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage and a non-removable 2300 mAh battery.

There is no information at present suggesting as to when the blue edition of the HTC One might make its way onto the market, but we suspect that it will not be too much longer.
