HTC Announces ‘Vivid Blue’ HTC One & One Mini
Over the past few weeks, lots of leaked press renders and production images have surfaced on the internet, showcasing HTC’s flagship smartphone, the HTC One, anodized in a ‘vivid’ shade of blue, and today the Taiwanese company officially announced that both the One and One mini will be available in this new color.
The “Vivid Blue” device is identical to the original HTC One, and One mini with regards to the internals. The One continues to pack a 4.7-inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage and a non-removable 2300 mAh battery. Whilst the One Mini features a 4.3-inch 720p HD display, a 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1,800 mAh battery.
Now that these new color variants have been introduced, HTC currently manufactures its flagship handset in black, silver, red and blue, in addition, to manufacturing its scaled-down handset in black, silver and blue.
According to HTC, both variants will be available to purchase sometime before December (during Q4), but the specific release date has not been mentioned at this time.
