ZTE Awe Now Available On Virgin Mobile

ZTE Awe

Virgin Mobile have officially announced that the ZTE Awe is the latest budget-friendly smartphone to be added to its “ultra-affordable” lineup. Virgin currently holds exclusivity over this handset, and has listed the device on its website as the Virgin Mobile Awe, which has also been referred to as the “N800” and the “Shocker” in several leaks and rumors over the course of the past few months.

The Awe packs a 4-inch IPS display, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8630 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of built-in memory (expandable to 32GB via microSD) and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. The handset ships running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and will not be upgradable to 4.2 or 4.3.

You can grab the Awe for just $99 on any of Virgin’s non-contract pre-paid plans, which start at $35 per month. This plan includes 300 voice minutes, unlimited messaging, and unlimited 3G data.
