Samsung Rolls Out The Galaxy Note 3’s First Software Update
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has today received its first over-the-air software update just over a week after it first went on sale in Europe. It weighs in at 30MB and promises “improved stability,” which is likely to be welcomed with open arms by those who have experienced crashes and other bugs with the device since they picked it up.
The update is currently rolling out to the unlocked European version of the Galaxy Note 3, which has the SM-N9005 model number. It brings the firmware version up to N9005XXUBMJ1, and updates the handset’s baseband and kernel, too. The update is still based on Android 4.3, build JLS15J, however, so don’t expect any new features on the surface.
