Google Launches #WhatMatters Competition
Google has launched a great new contest, entitled #WhatMatters. The competition gives all Google+ users an opportunity to win a brand new 2013 Nexus 7 (16GB Wi-Fi model) or a $50 Google Play gift card, which will be electronically sent to the winners e-mail address.
To be in with a chance of winning, you’ll need to take a picture of the things that matter most to you, preferably surrounding your favourite Android device(s). If you don’t have any Android devices, don’t worry. Google specifically mentioned that you don’t need to own an Android-powered gadget in order to win – a snap of any of your favourite stuff will do.
As with all competitions, there are a few terms and conditions. Firstly, you need to be 18 or over and live in the United States. Secondly, if you choose to submit a photo without an Android device pictured, you may not include any other smartphones or tablets in the entry. Finally, photos must be in .jpg or .gif format and must not exceed the size of 2GB. All of the legal details can be found here, in a very neat-looking Google Doc.
It’s more than likely that the winning pictures will be shared by Google on its official G+ page, so if you’re thinking of uploading a portrait that you don’t want the public to see, you may want to reconsider what you’re submitting.
So, if your interested and want to get your hands on a free Nexus 7 or $50 worth of Play Store credit, click the source link to visit the entry page.
