Motorola Now Selling The Chromecast
Starting today, residents in the U.S. will be able to purchase Google’s first Wi-Fi streaming dongle, the Chromecast, from Motorola’s official website. The newly Google-owned company is listing the device as an officially accessory for the Moto X and Moto G, and can be had for $35.
This doesn’t come as a surprise by any means. Back in August, 2012, Google acquired Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion, and we all knew it wouldn’t be long until it started using its new purchase as a method to promote its own products and services.
Therefore, it goes without saying that the Chromecast unit which can be purchased from Motorola is no different to the one being sold on eBay, Amazon, and of course Google Play.
