Samsung Pushing Out Android 4.3 Update For Galaxy S4 Mini
Continuing its rollout in Canada by Telus, Rogers and Bell, Samsung is now in the process of pushing out the rather hefty over-the-air (OTA) update to all of its unlocked Galaxy S4 Mini handsets located in North America. This much-anticipated update finally brings Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and a newer version of the TouchWiz UI to the handset, in addition to support for the Galaxy Gear.
The S4 Mini is a slightly smaller variant to the former flagship Galaxy S4, which features a slightly scaled down 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 540 x 960, a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD), an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a removable 1,900 mAh Li-Ion battery.

If you own a Galaxy S4 Mini and have not received the OTA update yet, you can head into “Settings,” then “About Device,” and select “Check for Updates” to manually scan for the upgrade.
