Amazon & Best Buy Selling Chromecast For $30 With $6 Google Play Credit
The Chromecast is already pretty cheap at $35, but it’s even better at $30. That’s how much Amazon and Best Buy are currently charging for the media streaming device, and they’ll even throw in $6 of Google Play credit to get you started.
Launched back in July, the Chromecast has been expanding its reach into retail stores and becoming a pretty popular device. It now has its own apps section in the Google Play store, and it’s supported by apps like YouTube, Netflix, HBO Go, Hulu Plus, and Pandora.
If you use these services, and you want to stream content from a mobile device to a TV, then the Chromecast is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to do it — especially now that it’s just $30 with $6 Google Play credit.
Best Buy will ship the Chromecast to you for free, but it doesn’t appear to be offering in-store pickup at the moment. You’ll also pay nothing for shipping from Amazon if you’re a Prime member, but if you’re not, there will be a small fee to pay.
