C Spire Pushing Out Android 4.3 Update For Its Carrier-Branded Samsung Galaxy S4
The popular U.S. carrier, C Spire, is currently pushing out a longly-awaited over-the-air (OTA) update to all its carrier-branded Samsung Galaxy S4 handsets located in the United States. This upgrade brings the latest build of Android 4.3, in addition to a multitude of additional bug fixes and speed optimizations.
The Galaxy S4 was released back in April, 2013, and packs a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920, a 1.6GHz quad-core Cortex A15 processor, a PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD), a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a removable 2,600 mAh Li-Ion battery.

If you’re a C Spire customer and have not yet received the OTA update, you can head into “Settings,” then “About Device,” and select “Check for Updates” to manually scan for the upgrade. Alternatively, you can wait until you receive a push notification on your handset prompting you to download and install the over-the-air (OTA) update.
