C Spire Branded Galaxy S III Receiving Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update

The popular U.S. carrier, C Spire, has now started pushing out the much-anticipated Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to all its carrier-branded Galaxy S III models (SCH-L710) currently located in the United States. This upgrade brings Android 4.3 Jelly Bean plus a newer version of the TouchWiz user interface, as well as support for the Galaxy Gear and multitude of bug fixes and speed optimizations to the devices.

The Galaxy S III is Samsung’s former flagship smartphone for 2012, which sports a stunning 4.8-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, a 1.4GHz Cortex-A9 processor, a Mali-400MP GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD), an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2,100 mAh battery.

If you own a Galaxy S III and have not yet received the OTA update, you can head into “Settings,” then “About Device,” and select “Check for Updates” to manually scan for the upgrade.
