Fashionably late as usual, Verizon has at last posted the official update documents for a much-anticipated upcoming upgrade for HTC’s flagship smartphone of 2013, the One. This announcement comes two months after all the other major carriers in the United States started rolling out Android 4.3 for the handset and reveals that Big Red is now preparing to do the same.

The paperwork reveals that the build 2.10.605.1. update, is scheduled to bring some bug fixes, stability enhancements, speed optimizations and a truckload of new features, including the ability for users to add their own music to Video Highlights movies. Furthermore, users will now have access to the latest version of HTC’s Sense 5.5 custom user interface, which means they’ll constantly be supplied with the latest news, thanks to the updated version of BlinkFeed.

The HTC One was released back in March, 2013, and packs a gorgeous ultra-bright 4.7-inch super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920, a Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 chipset powered by four 1.7GHz Krait 300 CPU’s, an Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of non-expandable flash memory, a 4-megapixel “UltraPixel” camera and a 2,300 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.

• Play purchased ringtones.
• Connection error fixed in the HTC Watch application.

Sadly, Verizon did not officially announce a date for the rollout of this upgrade, but we can assume that its pretty imminent, though, seeing as operators usually post these documents on their websites just a day or two before they start pushing out the update.
