Gold HTC One Goes On Sale In The U.K. Just In Time For Christmas
Still can’t decide what to ask Santa for this Christmas? How about a gold HTC One? The new handset has today gone on sale in the U.K. through retailers Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U, and it’s available for free on two-year contracts from £29 per month — with next-day delivery.
That £29 per month 3G tariff is with Vodafone, and it gives you unlimited any network minutes, unlimited test messages, and 1GB of data every month. You can get it with both Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U. If you want a 4G tariff, prices start at £37 per month through Carphone Warehouse with an O2 contract.
Neither retailer is offering the gold HTC One SIM-free yet, so a two-year contract is required if you want to get your hands on the device.
The gold HTC One was first announced on November 25. Aside from its pretty paint job, it’s identical to the original HTC One, with a 4.7-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera, and front-facing BoomSound speakers.
