Upcoming Galaxy Note 3 Neo Looks Just Like Its Big Brother [Leak]
We already know what the smaller, cheaper Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be packing under its hood, and thanks to these leaked images of the device, we now know exactly what it’s going to look like, too. Its design is almost identical to that of its bigger brother — the flagship Galaxy Note 3 — just ever so slightly smaller.
In fact, if you saw the Galaxy Note 3 Neo on its own, you’d probably say it was a regular Galaxy Note 3. The only real difference is its size — the Neo has a slightly smaller display — and its faux leather back panel is slightly different around the camera lens and LED flash.
Like the rest of the Galaxy Note family, the Neo will have an S Pen stylus, and all of the TouchWiz features you’d expect from a Samsung device. Here’s a reminder of its specifications:
- 5.55-inch HD sAMOLED display
- Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
- 1.7GHz dual-core + 1.3GHz quad-core processors
- 2GB of RAM
- 16GB of internal storage
- microSD card slot
- 8-megapixel rear-facing camera
- 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera
- 3,100mAh battery
- Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac
- Bluetooth 4.0
- HSPA+
SamMobile, which obtained the pictures above, also got its hands on some AnTuTu benchmarks for the Neo. Interestingly, its “Hexa-Core” processor isn’t quite as fast as the Galaxy Note 3’s quad-core Snapdragon 800, but it is faster then the flagship Galaxy S4, achieving a score of 29,382.
While the Galaxy Note 3 Neo may be a more affordable Galaxy Note 3, then, it won’t exactly be the midrange device we were expecting. It’ll certainly be interesting to see how much Samsung’s going to charge for it.
