LG’s Limited Edition Red & Gold G2 Hits Singapore This Month
LG’s gold G2 handset, which was listed by a Taiwanese retailer earlier this week, will go on sale in Singapore this month, the company has confirmed. The limited edition handset has been made to commemorate the Lunar New Year, and there’s a fancy new red model to go along with it.
On the inside, the new LG G2 handsets are the same as the original, but on the outside they look very different. Not only have they been painted red and gold, but they also have new textured back panels that will provide better grip and eliminate greasy fingerprints.
The devices will sell for $898 SGD ($705 USD) off-contract, TechDroid reports, but those happy to take out a new plan can buy them subsidized through operators Starhub, SingTel, and M1.
I don’t know about you, but I’m super disappointed these devices won’t be coming to the U.S. and Europe. I’m not so keen on the gold model, but that red one looks terrific.
