The G Flex is a relatively impressive high-end smartphone, packing a 6-inch curved P-OLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1280, a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset powered by four 2.26GHz Krait 400 CPU’s, the latest Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of non-expandable flash memory, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 3,500 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.

In addition, the handset ships running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean skinned with LG’s famous “dumbed down” custom user interface. However, the device is expected to receive the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 update in the not-too-distant future, which will put the Flex up there with some of the other high-end smartphones that run the latest version of the open source operating system.
