Lenovo Announces A628T As A China Exclusive

Lenovo has increased it mid-range line up by introducing the A628T, which is effectively scaled-down variant of its 2013 flagship smartphone, the A850. According to the Chinese multinational company, the handset will launch just in time for Valentine’s Day anodized in a ‘glossy red’ colorway and will be a China Mobile exclusive.

With regards to internals, the handset packs a 5-inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, a MediaTek MT6582M chipset powered by four CPU’s, 512MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, 4GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD), dual-SIM capabities and a 2,000 mAh non-removable battery.

The AT628T will ship running the latest build of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean skinned with the OEM’s extremely vivid and productive user interface, which can be customized by heading into settings and changing the appearance of the built-in launcher.
