Suspected Galaxy S5 Screenshots Confirm New TouchWiz Icons
Earlier this week, a Samsung teaser showed off a bunch of new app icons believed to be from the newest iteration of TouchWiz — set to make its debut alongside the Galaxy S5 later this month. And almost confirming that design change is a new leaked image from China which shows the exact same icons used on a mystery Samsung smartphone.
Our guess is as good as yours at this point, but the source suggests that this is indeed the Galaxy S5. These circular icons do have a good look and should be crucial in success of the new look TouchWiz user interface. But hold on, what if this is from a Tizen device which is also expected to break cover on the same day?
Well, since there is no concrete evidence yet, it won’t be wrong to assume that this is in fact a Tizen smartphone. This theory goes well in line with the circular icons, which has been a feature of the OS since the days of MeeGo. So it’s still not clear if this is actually the Galaxy S5. We should have more information on this mystery smartphone and those circular icons on the 24th of February.
