LG Teases The Imminent Arrival Of The G2 Mini Smartphone Via Facebook
LG has announced the arrival of its G2 Mini flagship with a post on its Facebook page. The smartphone is expected to make its debut at Mobile World Congress at the end of this month.
While all the talk over the past few weeks has been about the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5, there will, of course, be plenty of other handsets to look forward to at MWC. LG has played out a smart move by reaching out to the social media to announce — or rather hint at — the arrival of its upcoming Mini smartphone.
The company will surely be hoping that this builds enough hype for the device before its big unveiling in Barcelona.
There’s not much to go with this teaser at the moment, but the smartphone will almost certainly be a shrunken down version of the LG G2 as one of the images suggest. This is what Sony did exceedingly well with the Xperia Z1 Compact as it was pretty much a smaller variant of the Xperia Z1 flagship, with most of the hardware unchanged.
Stay tuned to Cult of Android for more on the LG G2 Mini and other MWC announcements; we’ll be there from February 23 to bring you all the news as it breaks.
