HTC’s New Double Dip Case Is As Customizable As The Moto X
We know about the versatility of the Moto Maker tool which allows users to customize the Moto X down to every detail. What if such a customization was introduced to a smartphone case? That’s exactly what HTC has done with the new Double Dip case for the HTC One.
The Taiwanese manufacturer has launched a new website that allows users to customize their HTC One case in colors of their choice. Customers can select a separate color for the top, body and the bottom half of the case, essentially allowing the use of three different colors.
Sadly the website appears to be region restricted at the moment, so global customers might have to wait a bit before getting access to the Double Dip case for the HTC One. It comes off as a bit of a surprise that HTC waited this long to bring out this feature — especially when a One successor is right around the corner.
While this feature isn’t as versatile as the Moto Maker, it is a step in the right direction. We might see future flagships from the company supporting the same feature, albeit with limited international availability.
