Sony Xperia G Poses For The Camera [Leak]
While Sony Mobile’s high-end smartphones are making all the noise right now, we mustn’t forget that a large number of company’s earnings come from midrange devices. With that in mind, we have now come across a new midrange Sony handset courtesy of a leaked image on Twitter.
The smartphone is known as the Xperia G and could feature a relatively underwhelming specs sheet to keep the price to a minimum. As it’s only a picture we have at this moment, there’s no word on just what might be inside this device.
But considering that it’s almost the same size as the Xperia Z1 Compact, it is said that the screen size is somewhere close to 4.3 inches. The smartphone appears to have borrowed design elements from other Xperia flagships with the lock button, camera shutter key, and the volume rocker located on the right side.
We might get to see the Xperia G launching at the company’s MWC 2014 event scheduled for February 24 along with the much rumored Xperia Z2 “Sirius” handset, which has been a part of leaks over the past several weeks.
