Rumor has it Samsung’s second-generation Galaxy Gear is right around the corner, but if you can’t wait and you’d like to save yourself some pennies on the original, then grab your coat and locate your nearest Best Buy. The retailer is today selling the Android-powered smartwatch for $149.99, which is half its regular price of $299.99.

The rose gold, oatmeal beige, lime green, and wild orange models are included in the sale, while the mocha grey and jet black variants are still priced at $249.99. The reduction is part of Best Buy’s “Deal of the Day” promotion, so you’ll need to act fast if you want to take advantage of it.

The Galaxy Gear received mixed reviews when it came out last September, but it seems if you speak to owners of the device, a lot of them will tell you they love it. It has certainly gotten better after recent software updates. Don’t forget, though, that you’ll need a compatible Samsung smartphone to use it.
