Acer has vowed to unveil “must-have new products” at Mobile World Congress next week with a new teaser poster published on its official Google+ page. The Taiwanese company doesn’t offer too many hints at what those products may be, but it does use the hashtags “AcerLiquid” and “smartphone.”

We can safely say at least one of them will be a new addition to Acer’s Liquid smartphone family, then — and it appears this is the device that features in the teaser poster above. You’ll notice a mysterious sensor beneath its rear-facing camera, which could be an infrared blaster, a fingerprint scanner, or possibly even a button inspired by the LG G2.

Cult of Android will be in Barcelona next week to cover the show, so as soon as Acer’s new devices get their grand unveiling, we’ll bring you the news.
