HTC M8 To Be Called “The All New One”; Will Be Available In Three Colors
HTC is known for their miserable product names that makes it impossible for the average joe to make sense of. With the HTC One, the company kicked off the ‘One’ series in a hope to simplify and streamline its product line-up.
With the release of the next-gen One (M8) coming up, rumours have been floating around as to what HTC would be naming it — the One 2, One^2 or the One+.
Today, @evleaks — known for disrupting the sleep of many in the mobile industry — tweeted that HTC has ditched the One+ name and instead would be calling the handset “The All New One”. He also confirmed it would be available in three colors at the time of its launch — Gray, Silver and Gold.
Shen Ye, known for his closeness with HTC, had earlier tweeted that the HTC M8 would be available in five new colors but it looks like the company had a change of heart.
HTC will be unveiling the M8 at an event to be held on March 25th. The handset is expected to sport a 5-inch 1080p HD display, a Snapdragon S800 processor and dual-cameras on the back.
