A new leak has just revealed the Huawei Ascend P7 smartphone in a press render accompanied by a few live shots as well. The render gives us a better idea of what to expect from the new flagship, along with the color choices that will be available during launch.

The press image reveals that the Huawei Ascend P7 will hit the markets in gold and pink variants — in addition to the standard black and white models. Going by previous leaks, the smartphone is expected to sport a 5.5-inch display with a 1080p resolution, and Huawei’s very own quad-core 1.6 GHz HiSilicon chip.

The smartphone is also expected to feature a 13-megapixel camera, up to 32GB of internal storage, and 2GB of RAM. The press image reveals the existence of front facing speakers as well.

The company is expected to unveil the new flagship at next week’s MWC event in Barcelona, which could also see the unveiling of the MediaPad X1 tablet.
