ZTE Officially Launches The Grand Memo II LTE
Chinese manufacturer ZTE has just unveiled the Grand Memo II LTE at the MWC event in Barcelona earlier today. The smartphone’s arrival was first announced by the company a few days ago, with the first press images emerging today with more details on the hardware as well.
The handset is relatively thin at just 7.2mm and features a 6 inch 720p display, stretching beyond what many would consider a smartphone. ZTE claims that the front portion has a screen to body ratio of 80% for optimum usage of the display real estate.
Other hardware specifications of the smartphone include:
- A 13 megapixel f/2.2 camera sensor on the back with a 5 megapixel portrait camera.
- 2GB of RAM.
- 16GB of internal storage with support for microSD cards.
- Quad core Snapdragon 400 SoC.
- Android 4.4 KitKat with MiFavor 2.3.
- 4G LTE support.
- 3,200 mAh battery.
The company expects to launch the smartphone in China by April with other parts of Asia, Europe and North America following soon. ZTE hasn’t given away pricing details at this point with more information expected be given shortly.
