Motorola To Launch Moto Maker In Mexico And Western Europe
Motorola has just announced the wider availability of its Moto Maker customization site, which is an exclusive to the U.S. as of now. While speaking at a panel event at the MWC, a company executive said that the customization site will make its way to Mexico and regions of Western Europe by the second quarter of the year.
Motorola however has failed to give away more info on this, so we’re only going by what a company executive said earlier today. The manufacturer didn’t specify which regions around Europe will get Moto Maker either, but it’s safe to assume that the UK, Germany and other surrounding regions will be covered. With Mexico, it’s as simple as crossing the border as the Moto X manufacturing unit is located in Fort Worth, Texas which isn’t far away from Mexico.
From a logistical standpoint, it will be interesting to see how Motorola will manage to meet demand in European regions. Perhaps the company could open a new unit around Europe to streamline delivery of its products? The details are scarce at the moment, but since the news is coming directly from Motorola, we expect to hear more in the coming days.
