The Motorola Moto G Is The Company’s Highest Selling Smartphone
According to Motorola’s Rick Osterloh, the Moto G is the company’s highest selling smartphone till date. The handset costs $179.99 and $199.99 for the 8 and 16GB variants, which has been very crucial in its success. The smartphone was launched on a global scale a few months ago with prime focus on developing regions of Asia, Europe and other continents.
Osterloh further claimed that the company is turning in profits with every device sold and is expected to increase that even further with the completion of the Lenovo acquisition. This could be a lesson for other failing manufacturers like HTC which is currently struggling to turn losses into profits. The company recently announced the Desire 610 and the Desire 816 midrange handsets to curb this very problem.
If you’re in the market for a Moto G, you will be pleased to know that it sports a 4.5 inch HD display, a quad core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset, a 5 megapixel camera on the back and Android 4.4 KitKat. The smartphone also comes with 1GB of RAM and a 2,070 mAh battery.
