The Find 7, Oppo’s very much-anticipated flagship smartphone of 2014, is scheduled to be unleashed at a press conference being held in Beijing, on Wednesday, March 19. Its believed that some early models of the handset have been distributed to more employees for the final phase of testing, as we’ve starting to unearth a few more leaks, rumors and tips. The latest being submitted in the early hours of Sunday morning. comes courtesy of an anonymous employee who’s aim is to confirm that the handset will feature a whopping 50-megapixel camera.
Eight new images supposedly taken using on the Oppo Find 7 appeared on a Chinese website earlier today and analysis of the photographs reveal that they carry a hefty 8160 x 6120 pixels resolution at an aspect ratio of 4:3 — that’s approximately a 49.99-megapixel camera. When we ran one of the photographs through an extremely high-tech image decoder the following results were displayed:
- Camera Maker: Oppo
- Model: Find 7
- Image Size: 8160 x 6120
- Resolution: 72 Pixel per Inch
- Focal Length: 3.8mm
- Flash: Did not fire
- Exposure: 1/100 sec; f/20; ISO 100
Obviously, with some Photoshop experience these specifications could easily be fixed, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if the handset actually does feature a 50-megapixel camera. The full gallery of images submitted by the tipster can be parused below.
