Displays Of The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 And the Sony Xperia Z2 Compared [Video]
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 boasts of the company’s proprietary Super AMOLED display, which is claimed to be one of the best mobile displays in the market. And a reviewer decided to put it to test against the newly launched Sony Xperia Z2 which features the 1080p Triluminos LCD panel with the Sony Bravia engine.
The results however are a tad surprising. While one would generally expect the Galaxy Note 3 to outshine any new display on show thanks to its credentials, the Xperia Z2 is seen to be outperforming the Samsung flagship quite comfortably.
There’s no word on whether the display modes were tinkered with prior to the recording of this video, but it’s clear that Sony has put in a lot of thought into the new display. Hardware wise, both the Xperia Z1 and the newly launched Xperia Z2 feature the same display (but slightly bigger) with the same technology. But it seems like the Japanese manufacturer has done a lot more internal tweaking on the display of the Z2.
Check the video below to properly assess the performance of the two devices with your own eyes.
