LG is preparing a new wearable for launch this year — but it won’t be a new smartwatch or fitness tracker. Instead, it’ll be little more than a colorful stylus you can wear around your wrist.

LG has its own Galaxy Note alternatives in the giant G Pro 2 and the 6-inch G Flex, but neither comes with its own stylus. Now it seems the South Korean company is looking to address that problem with a flexible solution you’ll never lose.

The images above and below, published today by the ever-reliable @Evleaks, shows off the company’s new wearable stylus. We don’t know much about it at this point — there’s no name or price tag — but it’s clearly designed to be worn on your arm so that it’s always ready to go when you need it.

Whether anyone will actually wear one remains to be seen.
