A new report from Taiwan claims that LG is looking to launch a second smartwatch shortly after the launch of the G Watch in mid-2014. There’s no word on specifics at the moment, but it seems like the Korean manufacturer will launch multiple smartwatches in the market later this year.

The company is also expected to launch the Life Band Touch later this year as well which is a fitness accessory compatible with iOS and Android devices. So it’s clear that the manufacturer is taking the wearables segment very seriously.

LG will also reportedly launch a pair of earphones which can monitor the user’s blood flow, although we’re taking this particular product with a pinch of salt for now.

It will be interesting to see if this new batch of wearable devices will make any sort of impact on existing smartwatches like the Pebble and the new range of Samsung Gear devices. Apple is slated to launch the iWatch in Fall this year, which should make things very interesting as well.
