Sony’s Xperia Z2 is not coming to the United States before summer
Live in the United States and are eagerly waiting to get your hands on the Xperia Z2 on a two-year contract? Well, here is some bad news for you. Sony has confirmed to Engadget that it does not plan on bringing the Xperia Z2 and the Xperia Z1 Compact to the United States “in the near future.”
The Xperia Z2 has received decent reviews from critics, and it can be argued that it is a better flagship than the Galaxy S5 and the HTC One (M8). Sony does plan on selling the unlocked variant of the Z2 in the United States via its online store once summer arrives. Sadly, it won’t be accompanied with the Xperia Z1 Compact though.
So, if you were among the few who were eagerly waiting for the Xperia Z2 to land in the United States, its time you start looking at other handsets or other means of getting the handset. At least, the company will be selling the Xperia Z2 Tablet in the States from next month.
