Motorola has announced that it be holding a fire sale in the United States on the 32GB Moto X for the next two days (June 4-5), where it will be offering the handset at a $100 discount.

The company has been continuously holding flash sales and giving discounts on the handset since the last few months in a bid to revive its sagging sales. The Moto X was easily among the best smartphones to be released last year and comes with many unique features like Active Display and Always-On voice recognition. However, the phone has been far from successful for Motorola, which even allows users in the United States to customize the phone with a wooden back via its Moto Maker service.

The $100 discount means that consumers in the United States can grab a 32GB unlocked Moto X for only $349. You can also customize the handset via Moto Maker, which further sweetens the deal. The offer is valid on the Developer edition of Moto X as well.

The Moto X successor is rumored to launch sometime towards the end of September, so potential buyers don’t really need to worry about their handset getting outdated within weeks of buying it. Plus at $349, the Moto X is a pretty decent handset to own.
