One of the standard features on handsets that many of us heavily depend upon is text enlargement, on many dumb-phones it’s extremely easy to make your font size larger, but it’s proving to be considerably more difficult on smartphones, owing to the large amount of settings currently available.

However, it’s not as hard as you may think.

Changing your text size is actually pretty simple. It’s just a matter of navigating through the built-in Settings screen, but you do have to know exactly what you’re looking for in order to do it. First things first, you will need to be running Eclair (2.0) and above. Then here’s what to do:

  1. Open up Settings.
  2. Tap on the Accessibility subheading.
  3. Locate and select Text Size.
  4. Configure the necessary scenarios for your new text size and it will automatically update.

Voilà! You will now notice that you have successfully altered your text size. If you run into any issues along the way, do be sure to let us know in the comments section below, and we’ll do our very best to get you back on track.
